We are looking for new members who enjoy singing German and English songs. Please contact us for more info. Just try it out. Practices are on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM at the Germania Halle.
Sprachlerngruppe:
This group is for people who know a little/some German and want to improve their German language skills. Meeting time: Every other Monday (except summer and winter break) from 7:30pm to 8:30 pm. Please contact Claudia for the Zoom invitation
Stammtisch:
This is for non native speakers, who want an opportunity to practice speaking German. We meet usually 2x per month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, via Zoom, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. To join, send a request for the meeting link and zoom password to: germaniasjcboard@gmail.com
Welcome to Germania Verein!
The Germania Verein is a club for people who are interested in maintaining the German culture, customs, language, and music. Founded in 1856 and located in downtown San Jose, California, the club has a membership of about 250 people.
We offer a variety of activities for many different interests and host many different events throughout the year. Check out our website to learn more about our club. We are always accepting new members.
